New Life... YES!

I had to choose one or the other... I chose the other.
I always go with the one, ALWAYS!
It is time to stop running and choose the other.
We can only run from it so long so why not just stop running and face it?
Faces... they are only the outside
Start looking deeper!

What a girl needs...

Brunch with best friend and her boy toy... CHECK!
Baby shower with close friends... CHECK!
Running shoes and a 4 mile road/trail... CHECK!
All a girl needs are close friends, family, and, most definitely, a pair of running shoes and ground to clear her mind!

Vacation!!!!

Every now and again every individual needs a vacation to remember the beauty of this world.
I chose the beautiful state of Utah. I forgot just how green it is and how much I love the summer there! I was hoping to spontaneously do things when up there, so I didn't plan anything. I had a very eventful trip and a very unexpected one. I loved it! I even stayed an extra day, which I would never normally do, but it was definitely worth every moment of it! I was so close in staying!
I ran away from Utah as fast as I could as soon as I got the chance... I don't think I really gave it a chance when I was trying to survive the winter. I really left because there was nothing keeping me there. If I could I would move tomorrow!
I miss my family that is there, I miss my old/new wonderful and loving friends, and I miss the beauty that surrounded my everyday. I miss the times where I would decide in a 5 minute contemplation with myself, to drive up one of the canyons, sit on a boulder and really see and think about the true meaning of this life we all live. I also miss all the random moments with my good friend Kristen.
I met a very caring, loving, and genuine individual and enjoyed every minute I spent with this person.
I, most definitely, was able to see the beauty of this world and what really means and matters the most to me!

DROP DEAD FRED

There is one movie that reminds me of my childhood... DROP DEAD FRED! Who doesn't love that movie?
I watched it last night, after many years of missing it!
The little girl is the little devilish child I just happened to be when I was younger...
I feel bad for my brothers because they were the ones that just happened to get in trouble for my fun :)
I also feel bad for all of our many babysitters that we did that kind of stuff too. (except one because I loved her the most; she always did my hair!)
The little girl grew up, however, and happened to find her partner in crime... one day that will happen for me!
Until then... I am just going to keep being that darlin' child I was and do it solo!
IT STILL MAKES MY DAYS!

My love/hate relationship with WIND

This morning I was out for my usual exercise, 4 mile walk of hills and beautiful Spring scenery. There was something different though about my walk this morning... WIND! It was incredibly windy, but nothing ever stops me from exercising, so I walked anyway. I was listening to THE JONAS BROTHERS "LOVE BUG" when out of nowhere this huge gust of wind comes. I was certainly unprepared for it! The next thing I know I am sharing a huge kiss with the asphalt! I am very grateful we have asphalt so our cars don't have to drive on dirt everywhere, but I would have rather not shared a kiss with it. I sat there for a moment and was laughing incredibly hard. It made my day!

I am so grateful for the little moments where I get to laugh at myself.

Spring is here!

Spring has finally arrived & from looking out my window it is beautiful! I can't wait for summer :) I will enjoy that quite more from the outside rather then from inside!

Pollen is flowing through the subtle winds, flowers are as
colorful as can be, all the trees are green and the birds are chirping!
Step out of your box and open your heart to the world that is waiting for you.
Now is the time to enjoy what you have, what you could have and what you will have.
The joys in your life start with you.
Make SPRING in your step and enjoy the creations of the world that God has given :)

LIFE, it is like a box of chocolates...
You definitely never know what you are going to get!
Utah... turned out to be a milk chocolate almond cluster!
Cali... is and always will be a dark chocolate caramel truffle!
Hawaii... dark chocolate cherry cordial!
Which chocolate would you prefer?

There is something in Hawaii that WILL ALWAYS be there,
My home will always be California, NO MATTER where I may be,
Utah will never be my home and I discovered exactly why!
Snow is beautiful, sun is gorgeous, and tropical is a long-lasting oasis!
Choose your chocolate wisely and enjoy every minute of it!
You never know when your mind might change and your life coarse chooses a different chocolate!
